At our institution, where nursing and health sciences take center stage, we understand that a single life is priceless. Every drop of blood has the power to give someone another chance at life — and that belief continues to inspire our commitment to social responsibility and community health.
In 2023, we held our first-ever blood donation drive, an initiative that brought together students, staff, and partners to support Kenya’s national blood banks. The response was overwhelming and deeply encouraging.

This year, in 2025, we took that mission a step further by organizing another Blood Drive in collaboration with the Kenya Red Cross Society. The event took place right within our school premises and turned out to be an incredible success.
A Day of Compassion and Purpose
Throughout the day, our campus was filled with an atmosphere of service and compassion as students and staff came forward to donate blood. It wasn’t just about giving; it was about living out our values — empathy, care, and responsibility toward those in need.

Each donor knew that their simple act of kindness could save a mother in childbirth, a child in surgery, or a patient recovering from an accident. These moments reinforced the heart of what it means to study and work in the health field: to serve humanity selflessly.
Looking Ahead
The success of this year’s blood drive has motivated us to think even bigger. In future drives, we aim to extend the initiative to the surrounding community, encouraging more people to take part in this noble cause.

Together, we continue to nurture not only skilled healthcare professionals but also compassionate citizens who believe in making a difference — one pint of blood at a time.
