On 6th and 7th March 2026, our institution proudly participated in the Nakuru County Mega National Career Fair 2026, held at Nakuru High School. The two-day event brought together students, educators, training institutions, and industry players with a shared goal of guiding young people toward informed career choices.
The event was organized by Gsmart Events and Marketing Solutions in partnership with the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association and the Nakuru County Director of Education, and attracted students from various high schools across Nakuru County.
Engaging Students on Career Opportunities
As an institution specializing in nursing and healthcare training, we were honored to showcase our diverse range of programs to hundreds of students who visited our exhibition stand. While many institutions were present at the fair, we stood out as the only institution offering specialized nursing and healthcare courses, which generated great interest among learners, teachers, and career counselors.
Our team interacted with students from different schools, providing guidance on available programs, entry requirements, and career pathways within the healthcare sector. Many students expressed curiosity about careers in nursing, community health, and other medical-related fields, demonstrating the growing interest in healthcare professions among young people.
A Unique Experience: Our Nursing Station
To make the experience more interactive and educational, we set up a mini nursing station at our exhibition space. Beyond sharing information about our courses, we offered free basic health checks, including:
- Blood Pressure tests
- Body Mass Index (BMI) checks
- Blood Sugar level tests
Students, teachers, and other visitors enthusiastically participated in these health screenings. The station quickly became one of the most engaging areas at the fair, with many participants eager to learn how the medical equipment works and how such tests are conducted.
Learning Through Interaction
One of the most exciting moments was seeing the curiosity and enthusiasm of students as they interacted with the healthcare machines and equipment. Many were fascinated by how medical devices operate and took the opportunity to ask questions about healthcare careers, patient care, and medical training.
These practical demonstrations helped students gain a real-world glimpse into the healthcare profession, making the experience both educational and memorable.
Contributing to Career Guidance
