Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine
The Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to assist in the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. The course focuses on the care of patients with fractures, joint injuries, spinal conditions, sports injuries, and other orthopedic and trauma-related conditions.
Through a combination of classroom instruction, skills laboratory training, and clinical experience, students develop competencies in patient assessment, emergency trauma care, fracture management support, rehabilitation techniques, and the use of orthopedic equipment. Graduates are prepared to work as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, providing quality patient care in hospitals, orthopedic clinics, rehabilitation centers, emergency departments, and community health settings.
This program is ideal for individuals who are passionate about emergency care, rehabilitation, and improving the mobility and quality of life of patients recovering from injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
