At Nakuru College of Health Sciences and Management, we are proud to offer a Health Services Support Program designed to prepare students for vital roles within the healthcare system. Health Services Support professionals are the backbone of healthcare facilities, ensuring smooth operations, quality service, and compassionate support for both patients and medical staff.

Our program equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to perform essential tasks such as patient assistance, record keeping, infection control, sanitation, basic clinical support, and administrative duties. Through a blend of classroom learning, practical training, and supervised clinical experience, students gain the confidence and competence to contribute effectively in a variety of healthcare settings.

Why Choose Our Health Services Support Program?

  1. Comprehensive Training: The curriculum covers a wide range of areas including medical terminology, first aid, infection prevention, patient communication, healthcare ethics, and facility management.
  2. Hands-On Experience: Students participate in practical sessions and clinical placements where they apply their skills in real healthcare environments such as hospitals, clinics, and community health centers.
  3. Holistic Care Approach: The program emphasizes both technical and interpersonal skills, training students to provide compassionate support while maintaining professional standards.
  4. Career Opportunities: Graduates are prepared for employment in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, community health programs, and NGOs, or to use the course as a stepping stone toward advanced healthcare training.
