At Nakuru College of Health Sciences and Management, we are proud to offer a cutting-edge Science Laboratory Program designed to ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, and empower students to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge. Our program, both at Diploma and Certificate levels, provides a dynamic learning environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and hands-on experiences to prepare students for success in the exciting field of scientific research.
Our science laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, equipment, and technology to support hands-on learning and experimentation. From molecular biology and biochemistry to microscopy and spectroscopy, students have access to the tools they need to conduct experiments, analyze data, and make groundbreaking discoveries.
Through laboratory sessions, research projects, and collaborative experiments, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings and gain practical experience in scientific inquiry.
Our faculty members are dedicated mentors who provide guidance, support, and encouragement as students explore their interests and pursue their research passions.

After completing the Science Laboratory program at Nakuru College of Health Sciences and Management, graduates are prepared to pursue careers in various practice areas focused on scientific research, laboratory analysis, and experimentation. Some of the primary practice areas available to Science Laboratory program graduates include:
- Clinical Laboratories: Graduates may work in clinical laboratories within hospitals, clinics, or diagnostic laboratories, performing laboratory tests and analyses to support patient care and diagnosis.
- Academic Institutions: Graduates may work in academic institutions e.g. high school, college or universities, teaching and mentoring students in laboratory techniques, experimental design, and scientific inquiry.
- Research Laboratories: Graduates may work in academic, government, or industry research laboratories, conducting experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results to advance scientific knowledge and discovery.
- Forensic Laboratories: Graduates may work in forensic laboratories, analyzing physical evidence such as DNA, fingerprints, and toxicology samples to assist in criminal investigations and legal proceedings.
- Food and Beverage Industry: Graduates may work in laboratories within the food and beverage industry, conducting quality control tests, microbiological analyses, and product development studies to ensure food safety and quality.
